Tree Branches to infer sustainability

What is ENVable?

ENVable is a sustainability assessment tool built to make sustainability work in your business.  ENVable looks at how sustainability actually shows up in your strategy, your people, your operations and your supply chain, beyond the policies and compliance, and turns that into a straightforward sustainability roadmap so you can build real business resilience, create lasting value, and get ahead of the curve.

ENVable's key topics

ENVable assesses performance across eight interconnected topics, to provide a structured view of organisational maturity, helping identify existing strengths and opportunities for improvement.

ENVable Radar

ENVable's unique Dynamic Radar gives you instant feedback on your progress towards each topic.

Positive aspirations your business holds

The effect of doing business

Your ability to impact the planet

Who you speak to, how do you speak to them, and why

How you move to a future where people, planet & profit are balanced

How prepared your business is to thrive

The impact of carbon across your operations

Your ability to create positive impact for people inside and outside your business

ENVable Maps to Global Standards and Frameworks

ENVable draws on principles from major global standards like ISSB, TCFD and TNFD, so your action plan is grounded in the same thinking that underpins serious ESG frameworks, without you needing to become an expert in any of them.

It helps you make better decisions, build genuine resilience, earn the trust of the people who matter to your business, and stay ahead of what's expected of you as ESG requirements keep evolving. In short: a clear path from assessment to action, built for small business owners who don't have a sustainability or ESG team behind them.

Principles

ENVable is built around eight core principles, from systems thinking and organisational maturity through to action prioritisation and value creation, each looking at a different piece of how sustainability actually works. Together, they turn a broad, sometimes overwhelming topic into a practical sustainability roadmap you can actually follow, not just a list of things to worry about.

Systems Thinking

No part of your business works in isolation. Strategy, operations, supply chain, people, finances, data. They all feed into each other, and together they shape how resilient and successful you actually are.

That's why ENVable's sustainability assessment looks at the whole picture, not just one department's box-ticking exercise, so you get a true understanding of your business resilience and what's really driving your long-term performance.

Organisational Maturity

ENVable isn't about ticking compliance boxes. It's about understanding how far your good intentions have actually taken root. Our sustainability maturity model gives you a clear picture of where you sit, from just starting out to genuinely leading the way, so you know exactly what "good" looks like for a business your size.

Strengths and Opportunities

This isn't just a list of what's wrong. ENVable's sustainability health check is built to show you what you're already doing well, alongside the opportunities sitting right in front of you, so you can build on real strengths rather than starting from scratch.

Action Prioritisation

Knowing where you stand is only half the job. What matters is what you do next. ENVable's Roadmap turns your results into a clear sustainability action plan, pointing you toward the changes that will actually move the needle, rather than leaving you with a long list and no idea where to start.

Transition Readiness

Change is coming, whether it's environmental, economic, technological or regulatory and ENVable helps you find out if you're actually ready for it. It looks beyond how you're doing today to whether your business has what it takes to stay future ready and adaptable, whatever comes next.

Value Creation

Doing the right thing and doing well by your business aren't in competition. ENVable shows you exactly where they overlap. From business resilience and efficiency to stronger stakeholder confidence and a workforce that sticks around, this is the real sustainability business case for why it's worth the effort.

Continuous Improvement

There's no finish line here. ENVable is built to grow with you, helping you keep learning, adjusting, and moving forward, so progress doesn't stall the moment you've completed your first assessment.

Meaningful Impact

Meaningful Impact is your honest check-in: are your good intentions actually showing up in what you do, and making a real difference? It's a simple way to see whether the effort you're putting in is genuinely translating into outcomes that matter, for your business and for the people it touches.

Scoring

How ENVable's Scoring Works

ENVable doesn't judge every business the same way. The scoring adapts to your size and context, because what's reasonable to expect from a five-person company is different from a 200-person one. It looks at both where you already stand (your Earned Score) and how far you could realistically go (your Stretch Score), so you get a true sense of both current performance and future readiness. It's less about ticking a compliance box and more about showing you a genuine path to keep improving.

Just like your business itself, the results aren't looked at in isolation. ENVable weighs up how your strategy, people, operations, data and supply chain all connect and influence each other, rather than scoring each area on its own. That way, your results reflect not just what's happening in each part of the business, but how much it actually matters to your overall performance.

Your results come to life in the ENVable Radar. A clear, visual snapshot of where you're strong and where the gaps sit, so you can quickly see what needs attention and where to focus the conversation. Alongside it, your Meaningful Impact score gives you a simple way to check whether your intentions are actually turning into real action and real outcomes.

ENVable Roadmap

The ENVable Roadmap is where your results turn into action. Your Radar shows where you're strong and where the opportunities sit, and the Roadmap tells you what to tackle first, turning your findings into a practical sustainability roadmap you can actually follow.

It weighs every improvement on two things: how much effort it will take, and how much value it could create. That means you're not just chasing the biggest wins, you're spotting the realistic ones too, so you make meaningful progress without a disproportionate spend of money, time or organisational upheaval.

Used well, the Roadmap helps you decide where to put your resources, how to plan, and what order to do things in. It keeps you focused on the changes that are achievable, impactful and in line with your priorities, giving you a clear sustainability action plan that takes you from insight to measurable improvement.
